What's New V.4.7

In DesignCad version 4.7, new functions have been added and existing functions have been improved to simplify and speed up users' workflows.

The main updated sections in this version are listed below:

Pattern Design

• When the pattern design screen is opened, parts are reopened as they were last arranged on the screen.
• Ability to lock one or more parts on the screen.
• Ability to select one or more parts using the selection icon and perform actions with the mouse.
• More flexibility when combining two different parts.
• Ability to change the font, color, and text properties (normal, bold, italic) of text added to parts.
• Customization of floating model images, screen, and working icons in the pattern design screen.
• Ability to manually intervene in pattern added to the drawing.

Darts

• Ability to equalize legs after moving the dart point.
• When opening another dart, the ability to input the opening amount as a measurement or percentage.
• Ability to add a measured drawing or hole point at the tip of the dart.

Measuring

• During measurement, ability to measure seams or lines with a single function.
• Ability to see the distance without sending the value to the measurement table.
• Ability to follow the process from the measurement window when sending data to the technical card.

Stitch Corners

• Eight different stitch corners offering various folding options at the start, end, and corner points of the stitch.

Notch Operations

• Ability to apply four different notch types to a point: I, V, T, and U.
• Ability to create angled and reverse notches.

Technical Card

• Ability to add desired tables to the technical card section via copy-paste from Excel or Word-like software.
• Ability to transfer tables from the technical card to software such as Word and Excel.

Marker Design

• Ability to save the old marker if desired when parts are changed.
• Easier usage with the new marker screen.
• Measuring and point-joining functions on the marker screen.

Printer Outputs

• Ability to save output forms in different formats (PDF, Word, Excel, etc.).

PLT File

• Ability to define eight different pen properties for efficient use in single-layer and cardboard cutting machines.
