Send/Receive Folder (zip)

Folder Send

This is used to send a Model Folder to another DesignCad software. When the model folder is sent, all the models within that folder are also sent.

1.) On the main screen, select the folder to be sent from the folder column. (For example: Dress 2024)

2.) Click the Send Folder icon.

3.) In the opened window, select the location where the folder will be saved.

4.) When the Save button is pressed, the selected folder is compressed in zip format and saved as "folder name.zip".

Import Folder

This is used to add a compressed Model Folder to the DesignCad library.

1.) Select the folder where the new folder will be placed. (If the folder does not exist, a new folder can be created using "New Folder".)

2.) Click the Import Folder   icon.

3.) From the window that opens, select the folder file to be added, in .zip format (e.g., "Elbise 2024.zip").

4.) If desired, the folder name can be changed. If the folder name is left blank, the folder will be placed under the initially selected folder.

5.) When the "OK" button is pressed, the folder is imported.
