Installation and Update
System Requirements
The recommended system requirements to successfully install and run DesignCad software are listed below.
Before installing and activating DesignCad software, please ensure that your computer meets these requirements:

Installation
- Start your computer.
- Insert the DesignCad software key into the USB port of your computer.
- Run the DesignCad Version 4.7 Setup.exe installation file and follow the installation steps on the screen to complete the setup.
- Once the installation is complete, launch the DesignCad software and refer to the License Activation section for licensing procedures.
Update
The DesignCad software will automatically update itself as long as your computer is connected to the internet.
When a new update is available, you will receive a notification about the downloaded update in the status bar located at the bottom left of the main screen.
- Once the download is complete, you can view the changes made in the new version by clicking on the Version Notes section.
- When you close and reopen the DesignCad software, the downloaded new version will be automatically installed, and DesignCad will restart automatically upon completion.
